Legal & Policies

Shipping and Delivery

This policy explains how we deliver orders placed through the Shower Haus website. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and our Refund and Returns Policy.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to orders we send out by courier, which includes:

  • Supply-only orders — standard shower doors, enclosures, and screens supplied for you to install yourself; and
  • Spares and accessories.

It does not cover custom-made shower solutions that we install for you. Those are delivered as part of your installation, as set out in our Terms & Conditions (clauses 10 and 11).

2. Where we deliver

We deliver nationwide across South Africa.

3. How we deliver

We deliver by courier. We use a delivery aggregator, which means your order may be carried by one of several courier partners, selected to suit the size, weight, and destination of your order. Once your order is on its way, we will share tracking details with you where these are available.

4. Delivery cost

Delivery is charged according to the weight, size, and destination of your order, and the exact cost is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. There are no hidden delivery charges added afterwards.

5. Delivery timeframes

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 to 3 business days of receiving them. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes a further 3 business days, depending on your location.

These are estimates, not guarantees, and times may be longer for outlying areas or during busy periods. If we expect a significant delay, we will contact you. In any event, we will deliver your order within 30 days of your order unless we have agreed otherwise with you; if we cannot, you may cancel that order for a refund.

6. Collection and your own courier

If you would prefer not to use our delivery, you may:

  • collect your order from us at 90A Intersite Avenue, Umgeni Business Park, Springfield, Durban; or
  • arrange your own courier to collect from us.

We will let you know once your order is packed and ready. Where you arrange your own courier, responsibility for the goods passes to you once they are collected.

7. Checking your delivery

Shower glass and hardware are fragile, so please check your order on arrival:

  • Inspect the packaging and contents as soon as your order is delivered or collected.
  • If anything is damaged, incorrect, or missing, contact us as soon as you notice and within a reasonable time of delivery, and where you can, send us a photo.

We will then put it right under our Refund and Returns Policy. Please note that risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection, as set out in our Terms & Conditions (clause 14), which is why checking promptly matters.

8. Unsuccessful delivery

Our courier partners will attempt delivery to the address you provide. If a delivery cannot be completed — for example, because no one is available to receive it or the address details are incorrect — the courier will attempt delivery again. After two unsuccessful attempts, we may charge you for any further redelivery. Please make sure your delivery address and contact details are correct and that someone is available to receive the order.
